Perhaps the most urgent matter is access to the sacraments of Penance and Anointing of the Sick as well as to the Apostolic pardon. (The Apostolic pardon is a plenary indulgence remitting all temporal punishment for sin. It is given to those facing death, usually after the Anointing of the Sick.) Special attention also must be given to the provision of Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist.
