Rector's Reflection
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Alleluia! Christ is risen.
The Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia!
Once again, this is not your typical Easter Sunday. For the second year in a row, we are physically apart, worshiping from home. And yet as always, this day is a day of joy and hope—when we celebrate that Christ died and rose for us, so that we might know God’s presence and rejoice in the promise of new life!
As these challenging times continue, I wish you each a blessed Easter, and leave you with this blessing from The Book of Occasional Services.
May Almighty God, who has redeemed us and made us his children through the resurrection of his Son our Lord, bestow upon you the riches of his blessing. Amen.
May God, who through the water of baptism has raised us from sin into newness of life, make you holy and worthy to be united with Christ for ever. Amen.
May God, who has brought us out of bondage to sin into true and lasting freedom in the Redeemer, bring you to your eternal inheritance. Amen.
And the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be upon you and remain with you for ever. Amen.
Alleluia! Christ is risen.

- Bible Study, 10:00 a.m. Join the Thursday morning study group as we read Julian of Norwich: Wisdom in a Time of Pandemic—and Beyond, by Matthew Fox. We'll be discussing Chapter 7. Next week, we'll finish the book.
- Manna Food Center Donations Drop-off by 5:00 p.m.
Thank you for the generosity and support of everyone for dropping off food for Manna. Please leave donations on the bench under the church covered side entrance (office side, approaching back parking lot), before 5:00 p.m.
- “Stronger Together” Discussion Group by Zoom, 7:00 p.m.
We are gathering on Maundy Thursday! We will listen to and support one another during our 7:00 p.m. virtual discussion about our mental health during the pandemic. Zoom access will be shared in our Thursday email.
