Only God. Or... Not!; Prayer and faith as saving or duty

Text of excerpt, if available

It's depressing to think about losing everything I've worked for all my life or even the retirement benefits that a company might have planned to give, could be lost. If the market continues to go down, where does that leave us? Not suggesting that you say, well, I just shrug it off. It's painful, no doubt about it. But for the child of God, he hadn't lost everything. First Peter chapter one verse four says you have an inheritance incorruptible undefiled, and that faded not away, reserved in heaven for you who are kept by the power of God, through faith, under salvation, ready to be revealed at the last time, do you lose everything here? Everything in the stock market, you know, there's all kinds of theories. People advanced to promote scare tactics. I've been getting this email several times recently that it says there's a plan to take all your savings out of your bank account.

You better do something quit. Well, he took it out. What are you going to do with it? So you just, you don't know what, what the future holds. Big PayPal. People panic over a lot of things. But if you lost everything in your retirement, if you lost everything you ever had in the stock market, if you lost everything that some insurance company would provide, if social security goes bankrupt, I'm telling you this, you're not wiped out. Because as a child of God, you have an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled, and faded, not away. And you're going to get their own time to join because you're being kept by the power of God. So this is not uncertainty. This is something that's absolutely sure.
