This is what I mean by giving God a chance to speak to us words that we may not hear from another source. And God's words can counteract our tendencies towards fear or panic or courting or selfishness that we might be hearing from the culture and the media right now. Yes, there's fearful news out there, but we don't have to live in fear. Yes, we have to do practical planning for tomorrow, but we don't have to be obsessed about what is next.
