Life is empty if it is only about taking care of ourselves, if it is only about worrying and protecting ourselves and our loved ones. The deepest meaning in life comes when we live for something greater than ourselves, when we discover the incredible joy in loving God and seeing the face of God in others, especially in those who are suffering, marginalized, and in need.
