Freedom – how did Bubbe escape Russia after the war? Courage – new immigrants to America, learning the ways of the new land. Connection to your people – ways the family promotes unity and brothership, etc. If everyone is able to use the same haggadah at the seder, it will connect them wherever they may be located.
