Silver lining: Blessed, grateful, or upbeat about the pandemic

Suspending in-person services and holding worship via Zoom has meant some adjustment, but we’ve found it hasn’t interfered with meaningful worship in any serious way. In fact, most of us have felt to one degree or another, that our relationship with God, our desire to follow Christ Jesus in daily life, our mutual love within the congregation, and our active care for our world are deepening—sometimes in surprising ways. A church truly isn’t its building. And we feel sincerely that the love of God that embraces “the body of Christ” and all its members, extends to every human heart without exception.
