In Luke, Jesus begins with a warning not to be deceived. He says there will be many who profess to speak for him who come in his name now in the century after Jesus, there were in fact many false messiahs. There still are those who claim special revelations, who claim to be prophets even today. And there are those whose message is about time. Jesus says, don't believe them when they say the time is at hand. So the prophetic message for the last days is not about time. And we're going to see that Jesus has a lot more to say about not knowing the time of his return. So Jesus continues with our next slide. Yeah. “When you hear of Wars and uprisings, don't be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away. Then he said, ‘nation will rise against nation kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places.’ ”
