Text of excerpt, if available

there is a degree of fellowship and communication that we can have by sending a message and staying in contact with people. I have friends and different parts of the country. People, we still keep in contact with the Douglas out in Kenya on the other side of the world. You know, we can't have in person fellowship as readily as we might want to. So we have to settle for sending messages and things like that. And that's better than nothing obviously, but there is something that is special and unique about the children of God spending time together in general, but especially in a public worship way, cause we can still have fellowship and we can still feel the spirit of God, not just on a Sunday morning, but during our fellowship one with another at different times as well. The word that's primarily used in the new Testament that translates as, as fellowship is the Greek word <inaudible> that gives the idea of partnership or a joint participation and intimacy or a communion from the Webster's 1828 dictionary companionship mutual association of persons on equal terms and a company or state of being together. Now there's a degree of unity that talks about being together, but there is a definitional definitional requirement of fellowship that speaks of being together.
