Text of excerpt, if available
Romans chapter three, verse 25 Christ is the propitiation through faith in his blood. That is his blood propitiated wrath settled. It satisfied it. And it's by faith. We receive the finished work of Christ. So the Lord is never angry with the remnant Israel. He is never wrathful towards his people. He is displeased at times. Yes, as a father is displeased with his children, but he is always acting in temporal judgements in love and mercy towards his people.
