[duplicate] Coronavirus Check In: Feed Your Faith, Not Your Fears
Everyone lives have been impacted differently throughout the pandemic. I personally have been quite lucky and have not lost a loved one from this virus. My worship rituals have changed. I no longer go to mass on Sunday's but instead watch it is my living room with my family. All Bible Studies are over Zoom. Although this pandemic has been terrible I think we have all learned how to adapt and over come some obstacles. Our faith needs to be much stronger in this time of despair. -

Christians and the Coronavirus
Before the pandemic I was very involved with my religion. I was attending regular youth group meetings, regular prayer services, and meeting with my religious community often. When the pandemic hit and I wasn't able to do this anymore, I fell out of touch with my religion and it made it very hard for me to believe in it. My religious community was an extremely vital part of my practice and not being able to be with them made me reconsider how I felt about religion. -

Understanding the Word
This sermon tells the story of Christmas but finds ways to tie the story to the extraordinary circumstances that we find ourselves in today. There are consistent themes of humbleness and having faith in God to get through these times. Although the sermon acknowledges the struggles of everyday life during a global pandemic, there is positive messaging intertwined with relatable points of Jesus’ birth. -
