Greetings!
With the arrival of May, we continue to hope and plan for camp, but also
acknowledge that we may not be able to open this summer. We continue to
watch decisions, guidance and recommendations from state and local
governments, as well as American Camp Association (ACA), Jewish Community
Center Association (JCCA), Foundation for Jewish Camps (FJC) and Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are thankful for the strong support
of our camp families, summer staff and our local community leaders. We are a
community and together we will weather this storm. Ultimately, we will make
a decision that is best for our community, guided by our values with safety as
our top priority. We will provide further updates – with the goal of a more
definitive decision about the start of camp.

Tonight! Parent Program
Today at 8:30PM – Join Yoetzot (Camp Care
Specialists) Caryn Lerman, Michelle Cades, Emily
Greenberger, Deborah Harburger and our Camp
Director, Lisa Handelman as we share our camp
experience and our knowledge of child
development to help your family navigate through
this challenging time.
Please RSVP here.
This program is replacing our annual Parent Panels.

#WaynesboroWednesday
Do you think you know Capital Camps as well as
your friends? These 2019 CCI fellows were
certainly surprised to figure out that there is one
question too big to answer on their own. Do you
stand with The Portico or The Pool Pavilion? Be
prepared to Kahoot and face reality on this

Virtual Village Programs
We're starting round two of our Virtual Village
Programs! Look out for emails specific to your
camper's village.
Parents - please remember we do not directly
email campers in Benjamin, Reich or Kaufmann.
